I’m a licensed professional counselor. I graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies. I received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Amber University.
My experience includes inpatient and outpatient group counseling in the adult chemical dependency and adult psychiatric treatment setting as well as, private practice. I conduct individual, marriage and family counseling.
My mission is to inspire, educate, coach and counsel others to discover and achieve their full potential.
I am a teacher at heart. My style is highly interactive and goal-oriented. I work with clients to help them see false beliefs and misperceptions that have led to self-defeating/self-destructive behavior so positive change can occur in all areas of their life.
I believe each person has specific needs. To effectively meet those needs, I draw from several approcaches including: Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Family Systems.
I will explore your history, symptoms, and concerns. The most effective outcome requires collaboration between therapist and client.
